A fashion shoot with many different looks, models and makeup artists. A large collaborative effort to create awesome images!
My first time using neon lights in a shoot. Although it wasn’t the main focal point of the day, I saw a chance to try something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. Getting sharp images is tough because you need to shoot in low light to get the colour from the light so I need to experiment to get some good settings for the future.
I tried editing the greenery in this shoot so it was a little more interesting. The flowers weren’t in bloom this time around so the colours were just too green. I am experimenting with more dynamic poses, and trying new things.
I covered a kimono fashion show last weekend, just getting around to editing. The event by Kimono Bijin and styled mamechiyo modern & Mieko Ueda was a high fashion kimono runway show, I covered the event from the dressing room and makeup to the actual runway show. Some behind the scenes were on my instagram @Renjeezy. Here are some of the highlights.
For the runway itself we were instructed not to use flash, which is odd for a fashion show. So I had to bump up my camera ISO and hope there wasnt too much noise in my final images. The lighting on the runway wasnt too great either so it required some post processing.
